Quingo Night
To raise money for our three nominated charities, the club recently organised a Quingo Night. For those that haven’t guessed, Quingo is a cross between a Quiz and Bingo with a number of correct answers required to win the prizes. We had a good crowd of people at the Brentham club near Pitshanger lane for the event, and successfully raised over £1,100. Hope to see everyone there next year!

Club Weekend Away
The last club weekend away involved the club heading down to the Weymouth on the south coast for the weekend. A busy weekend began with pizza and drinks on Friday night, followed by a trip to Corfe Castle on Saturday morning followed by lunch on the beach and a night out in Weymouth. On Sunday we visited Monkey World (which doesn’t really need any further description) before a pub lunch and heading home. A great time had by all!

Charter Night
Traditionally held in the last Saturday of June, charter night is a celebration of the anniversary of the club’s beginnings in 1975. The last charter night was held in a pub by the River Thames in Kew, and included a lovely three course dinner, the inauguration of the new Rotaract president, presentation of our annual club awards followed by a disco.

Sponsored Walk
This year the club took part in a sponsored walk from the Drayton Court pub in West Ealing to York Gate, near Marylebone in London. The walk was approximately 10 miles and all of the club members dressed in Alice in Wonderland themed costumes. The walk was good fun, and we managed to raise a total of £650 in aid of our three charities for the year.
